Hello to everyone! I believe you have started getting a grip on the basics in order to have a victorious Christian Life. I found the teachings of the book to be a blessing, and I hope it is the same for you all. I am glad to see in the first chapter that God has given us a free will to accept him. We can know we have eternal life if we believe in Jesus. Not guess, feel, wish, pray etc… but know for sure we have eternal life. Please share your thoughts of what has been a blessing to you in the first chapter. Have a good night.
I agree the first chapter broke it down so simply that it was easy to understand.
It won’t be a challenge anymore to explain the new birth to an unbeliever and believer alike..sometimes we know we are born again but we are not really able to articulate it in a simple form.
Chapter 1 has blessed me as well.
i am still struggling a bit but it is opening up to me i don’t always read the way i should and don’t really know what the proper way of studying is i am pushing forward and i know that it is being opened up to me i know i have a calling and a work to do for god but not sure what it is i pray daily to receive a new knowledge of his word and for that i thank god i am currently in chapter four and i am gaining some knowledge from it Thanks for all the support i receive from the church and pastor Lida and pastor Anthony and Emafa.

Reading the Word of God as often as you can and fellowshipping with Him, God can’t help but show himself strong on your behalf, and give you the desires of your heart. L’ auteur a parle d’établir un temps quotidien de prière et de lecture biblique .àcause de raisons très différentes, nous pouvons négliger notre relation avec Dieu. Thanks for the encouragement its not always easy as Ashley takes up so much of my time and when she is home she is very loud when we ask in Jesus name to for to tone down her voice it is a battle the devil has been rebuked from our home so we are pushing forward i am standing on my faith and believe what is prayed for will be in Jesus name amen.

comment entendre Dieu. Dans ce chapitre, nous apprenons que la Bible est une lettre d’amour pour nous. Dieu a inspiré l’écrit de la Bible. Nous apprenons aussi que les Écritures témoignent de Jésus. La Bible est éternelle. Dieu a donné la Bible afin que nous puissions être enseignés, réprimandés, corrigés et entraînés en justice. Pour grandir spirituellement, nous avons besoin de la parole de Dieu.
Nous ne devrions donc pas laisser le soin de cette vie étouffer la parole de Dieu dans notre cœur. Il est de notre responsabilité de méditer la parole de Dieu jour et nuit afin d’être prospères et réussis.
La foi vient en entendant la parole de Dieu. Nous devons être diligents pour mettre la parole de Dieu en pratique. Nous savons que Jésus a vaincu Satan avec la parole de Dieu. Nous pouvons utiliser la parole de Dieu pour vaincre toute tentation, toute maladie et tous les obstacles qui tenteront de venir dans notre chemin.

This week our topic is how to hear from God. In this chapter we learn that the bible is a love letter to us. God inspired the written of the bible. We also learn that the scriptures testify about Jesus. the word of God is eternal. God gave the bible so that we can be taught, rebuked, corrected, and train in righteousness. To grow up spiritually we need the word of God.
The word of God is a seed. If it is planted in our heart will change our life . So we shouldn’t let the care of this life choke the word of God in our heart. It is our responsibility to meditate on the word of God day and night in order to be prosperous and be successful.
Faith comes by hearing the word of God. We need to be diligent to be a doer of the word and not a hearer only. As Jesus overcame satan with the word of God ,we can overcome any temptation, any sickness, and obstacles that will try to come in our way by the word of God. The word of God is one of our weapons. The Holy spirit help us understand the Word. My question this morning is what four things does the word of God do for us?

Hello everyone!
I was raised Catholic and as I was growing up I knew something was missing. I don’t like man made rituals..anyway came here in the USA, attended some Catholic churches, I felt dry so I decided not to go to church all together. .I decided to do my own things..partying and all..
Then one day, after so many disappointments, I surrendered and said Lord if you are real, reveal yourself to me and I will turn back to you..that was in 2005.
Days later as I was sleeping I heard a voice : “no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper” I was startled and woke up suddenly. .I later on was told it was a verse in the bible and I thought to myself God spoke to me. He is real! That was October of 2005..I started attending Glad Tidings Church as I was introduced to the church by my roommates. .I gave my life to the Lord then..The rest is history.
Like Emefa, I felt peace and joy..what a marvelous experience it is

Thank you ladies. I can’t remember the date either. But I received Jesus Christ as my lord and savior at Glad Tidings church. I felt so different and full of peace and joy that day. I since then I can tell when I am away from him and when I come back to him. I am glad to have him in my life 😊. Blessings
