Hi everyone! I believe you all are learning so much about getting a grip on life. I just want to take a moment to answer the question on Chapter 2 of the book. I was born again in 1997 in Lome-Togo, my birth country. There was a newly founded Christian radio that my sister listened to 24/7. After a year of  listening to the gospel being preached, coupled with Billy Graham appearing on TV once in a while, I felt in my heart that I needed to accept Jesus into my heart. So one Sunday, I went to the church that was connected to that radio ministry I mentioned earlier, and the rest is history. Praise God.. Please take a few minutes to share with us your new birth experience. Thank you all for your dedication, God bless you.

Raised up Catholic, I had never heard about the word “born again until 2006 when I started attending Glad Tidings. I had a personal encounter with the Lord in October of 2005 here in the US. I started going to church seriously in 2006 and gave my life to Christ in early 2006 (don’t remember the month) during an altar call at Glad Tidings.
I was saved in early 70s went to a nondenominational church that took place in our pastors home even thou i feel away for many years and didn’t go to church my faith has still been up front and foremost as i still struggle to fully understand what i read i know god will open it up to me and my faith in god has never left me i appreciate the fellow shape i gain at jubilee i still feel like i am on the back fence at times and feel that i should be doing more for the lord my life is in unsure at times but doing the workbooks help as i learn by reading and righting i believe i should know more by now but i keep pushing forward with my quest to gain more insight into how Jesus has become a part of my life .
Huefanaa1 should read Carol Jukuir. .lol
Hello. I have read chapter 3 in the book “getting a grip on the basics” How to develop your relationship with God. The author spoke of establishing a daily time of prayer and biblical reading. Because of very different reasons, we can neglect our relationship with God. My question is how to develop our relationship with God in spite of our daily tasks. Stay Blessed

Yes i agree it is important set time aside every day to connect with god in every ting we do chapter 3 spelled this out on what we are suppose to do amen.
Hi everyone! I’m so excited to finally join you. I grew up in a Lutheran church where I went through “Confirmation.” But I truly believe I was “born again” at FCA (Fellowship of Christian athletes)weekend of champions. In front of many of my fellow classmates, I responded to an alter call to be saved and declare Jesus is my Lord and Savior. The foundation teachings I received going to my Lutheran church don’t compare at all to what I’m learning a Jubilee church and this book. I love that everything we our learn is connected to so many scriptures. Like the book title it really does help get a grip on the basics. I feel so bless to be part of Jubilee church. I have to be honest I was very intimated when I started coming because I could see how knowledgeable most people were with the word and how strong their Faith is. This book is really helping me relearn the basics and then I can build from there.
Thanks for sharing your new birth with story with us. I agree, the book is helpful in setting a good foundation for our Christian Life. Please don’t feel intimidated, keep learning, and God will show himself strong on your behalf. Blessings!
